General Electric is making an effort to step away from banking and focus on their industrial roots by agreeing to sell the bulk of a division that finances leveraged buyouts to the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in a $12 billion deal.“This announcement is the next step in G.E.’s transformation to a more focused industrial company,” said Keith S.
