“We're developing an entire new
generation of electrified vehicles," said John Mendel, the executive vice
president of American Honda. The Japanese car manufacturer
plans to introduce a new hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, new plug-in hybrid, and a
new battery electric vehicle but has not given dates. Honda has also abandoned
production of it compressed natural gas and hybrid versions of the Honda Civic
due to lack of buyer attraction.
